We've come a long way in the past few years, from a team of three making websites to a full-service digital agency. This is how we got here. Splitpixel was founded in 2008 by Charlie Herke and Greg Smuk. Inspired by our experiences in the industry, we decided to start our own digital agency, focused on creativity, customer service and results.
Based in the Media Centre in Huddersfield, we started designing and building websites for local companies across West Yorkshire, in many cases helping small businesses find their first foot on the digital ladder.Honesty, good value, and helpful advice that's accessible to everyone has always been what we're about, right from the very start. We were soon joined by our lead designer, Rob Marshall, and lead developer, Jon Kidger, who we're happy to say are still with us today.
